Based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), she serves as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Biology, at the University of Kinshasa, specializing in molecular biology. Her multifaceted expertise spans plant improvement, plant breeding, and induced mutations, underscoring her pivotal role in advancing scientific research in Africa.

Academic and Professional Achievements

Dr. Falanga collaborates extensively with the Department of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at the Kinshasa General Commissariat for Atomic Energy (CGEA/CREN-K), where her work focuses on harnessing biotechnology to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
